Arrangements were made to sell the guns to a General

Ping Ho S Chau representing himself to be a buyer for the

Fourth Group Army in Kwangsi.

Japanese Authorities however detained the shipment

until January or February, 1934, when the arms were returned

to Italy, country of origin. The arms were returned from there,

this time to Hong Kong. They arrived on the 27th June, 1934,

and were retained in the Goverment Storage Depot.

In each case a Macau Government import permit was

submitted in support of the application to export.
